La Belle Epoque, a collection of 137 turn of the century posters by 35 Belgian artists, was shown at the Vassar College Art Gallery as part of its tour, organized by the International Exhibitions Foundation in Washington, of nine American museums. The artists represented included James Ensor, Felicien Rops, Theo Van Rysselberghe, Gisbert Combaz and Leo Jo (Leontine Joris).  Selected from the extensive collection of Belgian collectors M. and Mme. Louis Wittamer-de Camp by their daughter, Yolande Oosten-Wittamer, the traveling exhibition was sponsored by the International Exhibitions Foundation in Washington, DC. This was the first time these posters were shown in the United States.     The Miscellany News
